Is it 2013 already?

Well, what has we been ups to??

The festive season came and went with tranquility.  We had some nice Mince pies from my mate,Nigel (thanks,hon) .

2013  starts with my yearly Misty Mawn class and this one is called Face to Face. I love her classes and I always discover something knew about myself and my work takes unexpected directions.
It opens near the end of January but we got a little teaser of a prompt: a list of pondering questions and we can decide to turn them into a story, a poem or a journal page. I chose  to art journal this question :WHO AM I?

-Daughter of daughters and sons,
 Blood of bloods
 Flesh of flesh.
 Born of Nature
 Sister of seed
 I am no-one but I am everything
 I am spirit
 I am soul

I have also been crocheting for these past few weeks and will past images of my finished throw,soon but I want to get back to my pencils and paints. I am feeling rather rusty and it is showing in my latest works but we can't always just show our best works :) Here is what I have been up to in my sketchbook:
