I shall be entering this painting for the PPF (paint Party Friday) blog.
This is a large canavas 60cm x 90 cm and I would have worked bigger if I'd found the right size canvas. This is the largest painting that I have worked on although I did do one many years ago nearly as big on paper.
I've been working constantly on this for 4 days and I enjoyed the process although I did not expect anything like this to develop. There are still some things that I would change but I am putting it away for now.
The shapes that I pulled out started off as leaves and then developed into Calla type flowers. The flowers and style sort of reminds me of some of Georgia O'Keaffe's flowers although hers are far more superior and more sensual.
Would you like to see the stages that it went through? I could keep going at this painting fpr a long time but sometimes you just need to stop and come back to it.

| First layer using only warm colours. Pretty dim eh! |
| Painted some shapes using cool colours, without really thinking about it. |
| Added contrast |
| Now it was time to dribble dribble! Add Fluid paint and spray with water |
| Start to pull out your shapes from the canvas |
| The was it nearly finished |
