Made For You!

That's what it reads on the little charm that I placed on this little meditating figure.

This is the back of the pastel portait journal page, now ready to be shipped off to New Zealand tomorrow! Wishing it a safe journey!
One of the lessons is to do an abstract background and them pull a shape out of it. I did this little meditating figure because that's what the person that this page is for reminds me of. It started out awful but then as I blotted out the background with white, it got more grungy and came to life. This is the finished piece and it was fun to do. Quite different from what's on the other side of it!

This is how it looked before I added the embellishments

My good friend Kersten, who is also runs 4x4 friday and is another FABULOUS designer, made this digital piece using my digi sheets!  I am amazed! THANK YOU KERT ♥

EDITED:

Just hopped over to one of my favourite blogs Gallo Organico, after Maria left some wonderful comments ♥ and she blogged about a painting challenge organised by Ayala
The challenge is to choose 4 painting of Mondigliani, and create your intepretation of them doing one painting each week. The challenge runs for a month.
I really shouldn't because I am swamped but I cannot resist. Actually, I have already used Mondigliani as inspiration for my Klimy inspired paintings as while back. Here are the 4 that I have chosen:

  1. Love this and I love the way you described your creative process. I think that's something I do more and more often these days.
